Being able to rotate inventory objects

Lke why it hasn't been done before already, since board can be annoying, but if you could rotate sideways it would be easier to place them in your inventory. I know that if you sort out your inventory then you can, but still like "shift and left mouse button to rotate" would be nice.

Inventory tetris could be interesting, but It might make hauling boards a bit too easy

Inventory tetris is fun for a moment and sucks the rest of your characters life...

It doesn't solve the issue of needing to do inventory tetris though. And it adds an extra layer of UI manipulation to achieve "optiomal" configurations. I'm not sure that incentive is something that's a good idea to create honestly.

Considering we now have the magical wheelbarrow, moving bulky raw material items is more convenient and frankly better than ever.

This was every players gripe with the Diablo games. Why did they never implement it?

Because you would hate it.

I'd rather make all inventory items 1x1.

That's a polite way of saying 'not going to happen'.

For example, I'd rather walk on hot coals than spend the holidays with my sister's family.

It actually solves the problem at the cost of some immersion.

It would require a significant rework of carrying mechanics though.
