This, and hoarding "platinum coins" would become quite tempting since you could turn all your coins to tokens and store for the next world when reset is announced.

I like how currently the money does get some slight value from being a "Quill" or "Mark", but most of the value comes from the fact that even if the specific market goes down, gold and silver coins can be melted back into bars.

this idea is bad, do you want makets to be based on the currency that can be only cash purchased ?
tokens are working fine and trading them is working fine
