Message In A Bottle

Postby nytro » Mon Feb 22, 2016 2:07 am

I'm loving the implementation of previous lost items in water being fished up or found on the beach. I thought it would be nice to have an item specifically meant for someone else to find. I can't really think of a purpose other than it being an interesting addition to the gameplay. I guess to make it a little bit more interesting there could be an extra slot inside the item where you could not only place a message but a curio as well, kind of like a gift, and send it off in the hopes of a newbie finding it.

This would be fun...

i do like putting my old things in water. Hoping somebody fishes it up and goes "aww sweet" or "WTF".

I may start using our low Q leather in a few weeks to just throw in a load of leather boots. i think this could be a worldly aspiration.... see if i can get a monopoly on the river boot scene.

You can just drop parchment, you know.

Perhaps we could have something where if you put your message in a bottle, it appears something like flotsam does, just bobbing in the water.
