Request: Mountain/Snow Wells

A bit of a personal request, yes... Pardon me for that.

I was a bit disappointed today that I couldn't look for a place to build a well on the snow biome.

Usually, when you try to build a well on a place that is not appropriate, it gives a message saying there's no water below.
Everywhere I tried on a mountain, however - even with paved ground - says it can't be build on that kind of terrain. I suppose that it means that even if there's water below, I can't build wells there, right?

Well, if that's the case, this is my request: To allow wells to be built on mountains and snow biome :3
I've researched a bit about wells and how they're built and found out that there are accessible aquifers on mountains so it's plausible to build a well there :3

how about a river gate? then he could build around a spring and might allow for some other interesting stuff. probably a lot harder to develop than just allowing wells to be built on mountains though.:p

I like the idea of aqueducts, or irrigation... Although im not quite sure how exactly it would work without being unbalanced, abused or just useless.

I'd love irrigation! Could be something like the Beehive, a central water tap or something that affects crops on a radius increasing their chances to have higher Q when harvested or something like that

A water gate for springs sounds good, too

These are a bit too complex, though - for now I'm just asking to be able to build wells on mountain terrain ^^"

maybe if you could melt snow over a fire... or in a "tar" kiln.

Gosh, how didn't I think of that?
That would be lovely! Maybe fill a barrel with snow and it turns into water after a couple hours (just like grapejuice turns into Wine, etc, etc...)
