Suggestion: Hanging

Postby 1MoreGamer » Fri Mar 04, 2016 1:25 am

What if there was a structure that could be made where you could hang a player by grabbing their unconcous body and posting it to a crucifix or hanging pole? they wouldn't take any damage but they would slowly run out of hunger and starve to death. ¦] ¦]
Why should you avoid players near salt sources? Because they're SALTY.

Cool concept, but the only way this could truly work is if they could be cut down.

That way if you knocked out a player and hung them up, their buddies should be allowed to come and raid you and cut his body down. Other then that, it gives way to much power to a player in terms of someone elses life.
I don't think Jorb or Loftar would give that much power to the players, allowing people to knowingly go around and knock people out just to hang them till they starve to death.

Also since players who are unconscious can still be played and view the map, it wouldn't take them long to figure out where they are at hung up.
This brings me back to the other theory of being cut down.

If you were to hang someone up in your base, well you just freely gave up the location of your base as they can just pinpoint it on a map, and give it to who-ever.
If you hung them up anywhere else, It wouldn't be to hard to find out where with a few minutes of using a map, then they could just call for help.

So in all it seems like a waste of time.

No. Scent free murder is bad for everyone. Making people wait days or weeks to access their inheritance is a bad mechanic.
