Would be nice, but probably too convenient for something like maintaining a super good piece of armor

Armor could take a quality hit each time it's repaired. At least this way broken armor will still be moderately useful.

Something like this would be nice.
You could repair armor but it would consume deflections.

i would also like this for table ware, seems like a waste leaving that 9/11 wear stuff laying around

You don't need to take off high wear tableware, it doesn't get worse with wear, and will give full benefits until it is destroyed

Repairing armor would be nice, if you use lower ql metal than you used while crafting armor - it will lose some of its quality and if you use higher ql metal it would still be capped at the ql of armor before repairing.
