Preview neat. but makes getting jumped worse

With the preview you can sit and spy on a location and wait for someone to walk over to a pole. and then instantly appear beside them.

So if you make roads outside your door 4 guys could be waiting on the other end for you to open your door and jump you the second you open it.

they can be used offensively to watch areas as well like a spy cam.

with the old method they would at least have to camp your roads for hours... now they know exactly where you are.

It's better because you don't have to deal with loading screen bullshit and can just run inside your walls.

Just run inside. The bullshit around visitor debuff make it impossible to kill people at their base.

If you watch for too long it'll send you through the port
Makes it a little harder to sit and watch at least

my idea? make choke points such as gates or stockpiles to take advantage of 'waylaid'

make 2 points, near the 'safe' side that is your base. now first point you get the waylaid thing, now walk around the second chokepoint (where anyone on the other side will see) and travel at a later signpost. this way you will get the 'drop' on them if they don't know what you're doing

this is worse idea. because at least if your at your gate you can just run back inside your gates.

if you are at a midway point they will see u tp in and come through auto aggro then you have to run.

why? they see the point they would teleport to, the second chokepoint. you shouldn't use that one, anywhere after that would work
and you can make the point you teleport from anywhere with the waylaid

say your in a village that is in a contested area. have your milestone go through two gates, at the first gate you get waylaid, second gate they watch. just go through a different exit and take any signpost that's out of sight of the second gate and bam, you get the drop on them

You can only preview for a minute, I believe, though.
