Please add various qualities for roaming chicken flocks in the wild.

Domesticated animals should start from quality 10.

There would hardly be a reason to have a Chicken Coop unless you're going to raise them to extreme qualities (which most people won't).

They shouldn't. So there we go, argument for an argument lol.

Also we now have silkmoths at high q, overriding a few weeks of work in pre-hafen worlds. I don't see why we couldn't have chickens at some higher q.

Silkmoths are considerably harder to keep at their qualities tbh, assuming ql10 "starter" trees.

Why would anyone ever want to raise them to high q if you can just find them at high q. Same goes for all tamed animals the q of the animal should reflect the work put into it. going out into the wild and doing basically nothing to find a chicken should yield low q whereas going threw the grueling tedious task of raising them should be how you yield higher q chickens.

Believe me, I went through that process for 6 worlds in a row now, I know all about the tediousness of it all :)

I was thinking more along the lines of having them available at qualities up to a certain point. Kind of reverse of the minimum quality that other animals have. That way, you'd still have a "good spot" to look for ok quality chickens and reason enough to actually check their quality when outdoors. The whole point was actually that - diversity of action when encountering chickens in the wild.

Somewhere along the line of up to q40 was what I was thinking.

OR they could always just make a separate entity between a wild and domesticated chicken and allow the quality on wild ones but make them q10 after domestication, like all other tameable animals. Taming would be time spent in a coop or something like that.

Why not?

WWWs aren't all q10.

Not sure I'd mind.
