No, no, no!

Saying this will "reduce alts" is like saying the hunger mechanic will reduce alts.

Having a hard limit to necessary, repetitive tasks will just force people to make more alts to do those tasks, you stupid cunt.

RIP farmers, miners, and mass production of anything without alts if this gets implemented; if you want to kill yourself go fight a bear, cut down on the excess population

Umm... I think you need to work on your reading comprehension skills and not be such a meanie head.
“We still, alas, cannot forestall it-
This dreadful ailment's heavy toll;
The spleen is what the English call it,
We call it simply, Russian soul.”

An idea to consider: Tedium, a Feature.

K... so we just fill the tedium bar to full then figure out the quickest combination of different tasks needed to remove the debuff and turn it into an obstacle course in the corner of the base

Tedium level reached > craft 1 farmer's hat from a straw stockpile and drop it > split 1 hide into 4 pieces > make 1 horrible knot > continue what you were doing

Great idea Onep

Oh yeah, well you're a poopy-headed barf-brain!

srsly tho please explain how setting a limit to necessary tasks won't increase alt usage as a way to skirt the limit

You'd have to raise their stats up to repeat the task you want to complete over and over after they inevitably kill themselves. That's the function of Tedium. I mean, maybe if you're okay with q6 cone cows forever you wouldn't mind.

The only thing it does to bot is make the bot user add one activity periodically to circumvent the tedium feature.
