Toad Poison

After a while of uneventful searching for uses of the toads in Haven and Hearth I began thinking up ideas for them. One of my better ideas was a form of poisonous bait for wild animals such as pigs (who usually eat anything). Say you mixed dead toads with a grain (wheat) and left it out in the open in say a tray (so it doesn't disappear) and hope something wanders by and eats your poisonous concoction. Going back to your trap a while later and finding a dead pig, that is if it hasn't been stolen, would be quite exciting.

Now some obvious cons here is that it may be overpowered, since pigs are quite a difficult creature to kill, thus providing new characters with better items. That said this could potentially be a positive.

Either way, feel free to discuss, add ideas and point out why this would not be a good feature. So I will leave it with you all!

pigs are easy as hell to kill. just right click em and hit slaughter.

boars on the other hand can be a challenge to weak characters. iv already suggested traps to this effect and i still want those.

personally id like to use toads as fishing bait. for some sort of large fish.
Newbie and noob do not mean the same thing.

Neither do figuratively and literally.

Yeah, when I say pigs I mean boars. Perhaps I should change it in the thread.

would be interesting if wild life was stronger so as to need poison to not get gored

would make the game more interesting and closer to 'survival'

Maybe poison toad character needs to be with adding to the game to do this. I cannot think the toad of present is with poison.

Perhaps not Ysh, but almost all toads have some degree of toxins. It would be nice if upon pickup of a toad it would convert to a random species of toad. "The swamp is like a box of toads, you never know what you're gonna get." I believe that is how the quote goes... Different toads or not, QL of the resulting bait (toad+grain) would have a larger impact on the animal; it would die faster? If not it's movement speed would be slowed? Or even it's constitution and agility take a hit so it is easier to kill. < That said, I still doubt anyone with a weak character could kill even a near death boar ;).
