After recent events on Tartarus and the subsequent release of the Titans I've been thinking about its purpose.

As I see it, Character creation Screen should only be used to create new characters or accesing to Valhalla.
Its main purpose is giving birth of a new heartling and be able to reunite with friends or villagers.
As it is now its also a weapon of siege in a imperfect system, and it doesnt make any sense.
Having purposes or possible actions different than this its only a way for people to bypass intended mechanics. I've never seen in any game players making different uses than this one for that single layout of the game, and as we've seen here its a gate for abuses and unlogical ways of playing.

Shouldnt this be remodeled?¿
Is that offensive way of using it intended?¿
What is the purpose of that phase of the game?

My fault, sorry.

The thing is, what is the original intention behind the character creation layout?
When you start playing this game, the first thing you do is creating a character. Right? In every game you play with a character creation layout or screen there is one purpose behind it: - Creating a character.
In this game there is 3.
-Creating a character. Thats logic.
-Entering Valhalla. New stuff, cool.
-Inheriting from your last char. And here it comes the problem.

Inheriting is meant to get part of your stats back and get back to where your house, village or properties are. This is set by a heartfire or a charterstone.

My question is:

Do you think Devs added this last purpose for agresive or offensive ways of playing¿?
What is the purpose of it?¿

Because if the reason to add this is just going back where you were and getting some of the lp and skills you lost, why do some people use it as a raid method?

If this is modified, mechanic abusers, in case it isnt intended, will loose a weapon and a unintended use of this function.

Is it better now?

Inheriting and charterstones are not linked as you seem to imply. You can start a brand new character at a charterstone or wilderness beacon (same system).

Of course they are linked in the same moment you can spawn on them. And thanks for the addition. Wilderness beacon.
The question is the same. Are those things intended for an offensive or agressive way or just for spawning somewhere?

Where do the sandbox start?

I think the spawn acting is not an action that can be of aggression per se. It will be what a man does after the spawning that can harm the fellows. This is why the spawning is done by invite only.

Its unnecessary and dangerous. Spawning should be only be by invite from the ls then.
The actual system its a gate for Tartarus kind of strategies.
If devs change the system this wont be able to happen.

Do you not set the spawning code to what you want? And it can be changed I am thinking. It is impossible for guessing if the code is not set except during the spawning, changes for each spawning, and is a random list of letters numbers, as a password. This is only by invitation if you are taking previous caution. They can have an unknown window of several minutes to brute force. This is not feasible to happening.

I do not know how these systems work now as I have only used legacy hearth spawning and wilderness beacon. Maybe my assumptions are not good.
