beehives

i want hives that increase crop growing speed and give us honey. :P

naw, the real idea is WILD beehives. that have a chance to spawn in trees. kinda like ant nests, you could harvest 0.50 honey from them but this would cause a swarm of bees to attack. you could raid the hive like an ant hill for curios, worker bees, drone bees, queen bees and a honeycomb.

Being able to craft 10 or so honeycomb into wax would be cool.

the idea was that they are akin to anthills but more rare. being destroyed once you raid the beehives....

you can then take the queen you have a chance of getting from the wild hives and instead of studying it you have the option to right click it on a built beehive to increase its productivity for x amount of time :o

i was gunna say make the queen a requirement to make the hives you build produce at all (more realism ohh yeaaaa), but i think that would make beehives for farming too difficult :?

I don't mind wild hives. I think we should have to find them in order to make domesticated hives.

The idea is to make wild hives from which you'll have to capture swarms by smoking them, and shit, but we haven't gotten there yet.
