Increase stone despawn time

Stone/ore disappears in a minute or two, can you increase this to a more reasonable time?

Ore, coal, and catgold have a much longer despawn timer than that. They last for at least 10 minutes on the ground, probably more. Stone, seashells, and strange crystals however do despawn rather quickly.

I was always under the impression these disappearings were based on some decaying systems and were very random in timing.
