HQ ore nodes

Postby Pupsi » Mon Apr 18, 2016 1:06 am

At the moment mining is not enough hardcore. My idea is to make HQ nodes radioactive (uranium impurities(And it will give some explanation of why the same ore is of varying quality.)), i dont know if in ancient world were any use of uranium, but at least it should hurt and or even kill miner who digging some extraordinary high quality nodes. Ofc it cant be introduced into current world, but you can think about it for the next world. Thanks

Ore containing uranium is hardly radioactive at all.

Uranium ore isn't really dangerous. Coal dust is a bigger risk.

I agree. This idea is telling of a fundamental misunderstanding of basic geological principles.

Uranium kills miners = Trolls kill miners.

Trolls are made of uranium.

i think the suggestion you're looking for is: Dragon guarding dragon horde.

what if we increased metal yields but made caverns more interesting and larger with some fauna and beasts. or is that bordering too fantasy?

Who would have thought a bunch of prisoners working in a mine every day of their life for four years getting exposed to radon because of a lack of ventilation would ever get cancer?

The CDC reports there has never been a death from exposure to natural or depleted uranium.
