People are complaining about trellis because anyone with common sense knows that most of the things that grow on them don't work that way. At all. Take it from a guy who actually grows most of the things we haven in game. Peppers produce for months if you take care of them correctly. The plants will burn out if you don't give them some fertilizer every few weeks however. Not to mention the need to weed them every couple weeks otherwise they get choked by them. Peas produce consistently for a couple of months too once they get to the point where they are heavily producing. The case is the same for cucumbers. They can produce for months if cared for properly.
The trelli system needs to be generally reworked. I'll lay out some ideas here since making a new thread is a pain.
-Increase the time it takes for all trelli plants to initially produce.
-Trellis plants should have around 5 different harvest. If the time to intial time to produce is a week, then the time between harvest should be 2 or 3 days at most. Just an example.
- The initial harvest should be smaller then the subsequent ones. Example, 1 cucumber rather than 3 later on.
- Quality should rise with each harvest.
To keep it more interesting we could have to fertilize or weed trellis plants between harvest, but eh lets see how this even goes over. If fertilizer is the case then the way q raises would have to be thought over. Possibly a cap to how much it can increase between each harvest. A point or two at the most is reasonable to me.
I should point out that grapes should excluded from everything i've said here. Actual grape growing is way different then peppers or peas.
While i'm posting about farm stuff. What the fuck is our climate? Growing carrots and beets at the same time as a cucumber? What magical fairyland is this? Half our plants like really hot weather and the other half like it really cold like what the hell is going on. Derail ;/
