I'm saying that gold pebble must have a use, which allow a casual farmer craft something with it. Because he will never find 10 pebbles when chipping stone or digging clay.

You can sell them, and some ores also give pebbles in addition to nuggets. Not entirely useless imo, just a nice random bonus from doing other activities.

If there are recipes that require them there should be a smelting recipe to melt down nuggets.
