Proper decay mechanics

If property is unclaimed( aka abandoned) in 3-6 months. All buildings objects should decay. And eventually pacement should be taken over by local biome tiles. And trees specific to the biome should sprout after that.

I quite like coming across half-destroyed settlements and villages in my travels. It adds to the scenery.

I rather like destroyed settlements too. Would be awesome tho if bigger structures had a better oldness indicator than just decaying, something like moss or ivy.

Giant tree will come to splay old building. Construction of man can not stand to the natural plant beast.

yes, I quite like this idea. It would be fun to walk by a crumbling stone mansion and see a hermit living inside for temporary shelter!
Spooky.

This already happens, save for paving breaking up, and trees replanting. Walking around during old world seven I found lots of bases that basically only had the paving left as a trace that they were ever there.

I have taken it on myself to stomp to dirt any paved spaces in the area I find that have decayed, which leaves odd patches of grass.

I don't think places should really just decay into nothing but paving. Ruins are way cooler. Maybe make it really easy to destroy if someone feels so inclined.
