Can we make 'clean' or butcher small-game a crafting option under odds-n-ends or cooking?

I would like it to get rid of flower menus for most stuff, so I would like to see two actions for:

Harvest, forage, take wax, collect coal, shear, carve/clean ... kind of actions
Slaughter, kill, wring neck, skin, pluck, clean, butcher, .. kind of stuff

The first operating on plants and constructs keeping them mainly intact, the latter on breathing stuff that will have problems with that soon (or already has) and deconstructs it.

All the right - clicking and menu selecting kills the flow and isn't fun, would be nicer in case it would work more like the cart does now (compared to the legacy one).

U craft 1 thing from many things. U use flower menu to get many things from 1 thing... That's how it works...
U can't "craft" bat-hide, bat-wings and bat-corpse from 1 unit of dead bat. That's why it won't be ever implemented, IMHO.
Though, I think some action should be "by default" w/o flower menu apearing (like "pick", or "split"). And maybe butchering may be single-action. What is the purpose of being able to butcher before skinnig with loss of hides? Just another possibilty to say "Hey, noob, you wasted your hide, I *did* you again"?
