Battle elephants & chariots

We want some more end game content. Let us tame the mammoth and to be able to use them as war machines in sieges + destroy trees, rocks and carry big amounts of materials.

Implementing chariots would be cool as well. Like, picking up your comrades that have no horse and traveling together. Dealing AoE damage, if there are blades in the wheels and etc.

I'm not sure elephants as 'siege machines' would be a good and balanced mechanic. Right now siege machines take time to setup, but it wouldn't make any sense for an elephant to take time to setup, and if it didn't take any time to setup, then there'd be no warning or prep time whatsoever for the defending village.

Plus I imagine for late game players, taming mammoths would be relatively easy and thus it would provide an easy source of siege machines without being limited by the finite amount of brimstone per day.

Minus the sieging, having a tamed mammoth / chariot be a multiple person mount seems more balanced, though they'd have to move slower than stand alone horses do.

Mammoth-riding will happen, yes. That has always been the plan.

Noone says, that mammoths will destroy walls.
They will be as traktor or a tank in siege, a kind of weapon or armor, but not an siege machine
