Fix gilding system!

Postby linkfanpc » Thu May 05, 2016 4:32 pm

The new gilding system SUCKS! All clothing has lost it's value. Bear Capes and Druid Cloaks aren't in any way better than Bat Capes and Fur Cloaks.

What you should do is make it all clothing gives all it's normal stats it used to give. Every time you guild it it loses 25-50% of all it's stats. (Unless your guilding, for instance, one of the Taproot Lacings onto a nettle shirt, the survival stays the same, but the survival being given is halved and so is the UA bonus.)

Just PLEASE balance out the gilding system!
Total misplay.

Your real complaint is that your bear cape has changed, a fact which is really only tangentially related to the gilding system per se.

No. His real complaint is that ALL higher tier clothing has lost its value, and essentially been replaced with linen gear. Did you read his post?

More or less precisely what I said.

Bear capes aren't exactly comparable to ranger gear. I would go further and say that, under the previous system, bear capes weren't even getting into the high tier. The high level gear took a considerable amount of effort to create, and then assorted qualitites and skills limited its effective Q.

Any idiot can kill a bear and slap together a cape. It isn't exactly an intricate or time consuming part of hafen.
