Pickle would be good. Cucumber is quite useless at present. Can put some cucumber and vinegar in barrel and wait. I think we can use more foods with more complicated cooking process. Right now most things just has single state preparation. It's too simple I think and it makes much food useless because it can be hard to balance each simple foods. If foods will be separated into tiers more than these are at present, maybe this can be better for balance easy.

I do not know why you think this should not be food item. I will eating pickles as food to me.

They wouldn't count as food because pickles may as well have no calories. A serving of pickles is like 10 calories or something. At least I assume thats why hes suggesting it this way.

yeah. pickling would be cool but should not be limited to cucumbers, we could have pickled carrots, beets, eggs, probably some other stuff

They can be unique but they're still food. I mean like how is a pickle unique? most countries have some type of pickling process for a certain food. besides pickles taste good with other foods so then more meat dishes can be made or even sandwiches with pickles and meat. and if smoked meats become a thing then you could have a pastrami with a sour pickle

If pickled things get added, vomitting when you eat them should be added as well. They're horrible.
