As opposed to cooking our meats over a campfire even into late game, how about we have a brick roasting pit that utilizes coal and a metal grille to more elegantly prepare said meats?
Fuel input would be restricted to coal of either type, and the "heat" meter would persist for much longer than it does in a fireplace. Construction requirements would be in the neighborhood of 20 bricks and 1-2 bars of hard metal.
