perc or exp gild for begining game

Spruce cap give + 1 explor, and now didnt give it. And you have only one way to up exlor or perc at start and this is heartwood leaves. So at begining of new world all leaves will disappear in one moment.
Person who didnnt get leaves can only get exp perc gild after 2 - 3 days.

You could easily just spent lp to put it in exploration... the +1 from spruce cap is nothing. In the period of time where you can't get leather patch yet, +1 exploration isn't going to cost a whole lot of lp anyways.

It's actually EASIER and QUICKER to get better stats on equipment with the gilding system.

O noes, I have to wait 1 day to get stupidly high stat buffs instead of instantly! Wat will I do?!

you didnt find tree and then you must spend leather to palisade, so the person who get all heartwood leaves will collect all floatsam with his friends and you will have nothing. The gilding system and satiations system will slow experience player and greatly slow sprucecap at the begining. Just start new character if you didnt understand

Some more early game gildings would be nice,
Especially to replace stinging nettle clothes and spruce cap.

Taproot gilding already adds way more surv than nettle gear. Early game is going to be over super fast in w10 due to gildings.

Firstly: There will not be full resource nodes at the start of world 10. That was a mistake that I am assuming they will not make again.
Secondly: "The gilding system will slow experienced players at the beginning" Are you high? On the first day, people can have a set of 6 items (sprucecap, pants, shirts, clogs) all gilded with taproots. This easily surpasses the early game surv bonuses before, which were just about the only gear bonuses for complete noobs. Another couple of days, and that is upgraded to leather patches, giving exploration as well. Keep in mind, the only exploration boost you could get before was a sprucecap for like +1. Now a few days in, people will have at least +18 sets of surv and exp, at the lowest quality. How does this slow progression? I actually think slowing progression would be a good idea, as it would keep the early world interest going longer. Instead, this essentially doubles stat gain speed, and cheapens the experience of developing a character. Keep in mind that this is only looking at surv and exp too. People can gild for more agi and ua to tame things faster, sewing, farming... Need I go on? Please feel free to enlighten me as to how all of this will "slow players greatly," I am truly interested.
Thirdly: I'm not sure why starting a new character would help me "understand." Again, please feel free to elaborate.

surv set gives + 8 so you must increase your surv by 2 points 500 lp
now you need to get + 5 surv to get +10 surv
but you cant do it because you need explor

forage will drop to 50% after 20 stats, so you must choose what you need int for curios for extra lp or perc. so if you didnt get perc from gild you will spend more on expl and perc and didnt get enough int and then you didnt get enough lp for surv.

Yes, you can no longer get more than double your stats. This will barely affect new players at all- they just have to put in a few points to get returns. Really not sure how this bolsters your argument for adding more early gilds?
As for "you can't do it because you need explor," yes, you cannot instantly raise all stats at once. I need the ua to fight ants and the exp to see things and the surv to get good things and the MM to hunt, and the farming to grow crops! What will I do!

And finally, a very valid point about the stupidity that is satiations. Yep, they are retarded, and will be even worse early world, but this still has zero bearing on adding extra gilds to the game.
