The floor tile of a vein node should match the vein

Not for stone, only special ores- I just though that having the ore paved onto the same tiles as the walls when dug looks much better than just the constant cave floor- more resembling a true "vein"

Yeah, I like it ... adds something to the dullness of caves. :)

+1 I like the example picture you posted. I wouldn't be against it happening with all things excluding coal. Would be neat to be able to tell what was under a tile after we mine it

That would be really cool.
I dont see reason why not do it to the stone also?

I feel like if every single stone type did this it would be too cluttered and visually distracting

Coal would be fine, I just meant not every stone-type.

Maybe in a lighter or darker tint, or color component filtered away a bit,... compared to normal pavement?

A floor of coal just sounds ugly and dangerous. I like your idea for having the color be slightly off for the floor tho.

That would be fine too, i just think having a big difference between stone types is a bit too much- would be weird to only see the normal caave floor texture in natural caves too.

But would make sense, cave is a cave while a tunnel mined out through specific stone would look different.
