Mulberry trees

Postby Pussnboots » Tue Jun 07, 2016 6:28 am

Please, please I'm begging you to do something with the mulberry trees. I've been a silker since I started playing in w3, it is a time consuming job from start to finish which doesn't bother me, I've grown to accept it. But with the trees only producing 250 leaves, it is frustrating to say the least. I've got over 40 mature trees and I'm lucky if I get one pop new leaves every day. Please throw us old silkers a bone and up the amount of leaves they produce or how often they resprout. I'd prefer the later but even getting more leaves would make it slightly more bearable.

It's funny when you're better off planting new trees than waiting for leaves to regrow on old trees.

I concur.

It's pretty annoying to have to plant billions of trees just for the fickle hope of getting enough leaves for every cycle. Tree resource regeneration in its entirety needs to be looked at, because the current random decay system is obnoxious and tedious.

Couldn't agree more ... the only way for me to make silk at my hermitage is to constantly replant.

Not entirely sure what to think about it, tbt. We've considered regular output a few times but decided against it. I can see that you have some sort of argument going for you, however.

Idk why silkers would have to wait for the leaves so long, even as a dedicated warrior I agree that trees should give more leaves.

Makes no sense why these trees don't grow leaves or whatever resource they have. So crops can be grown, but a trees rate of growth is random? Come on. Does the local apple orchard cut down their trees or wait for random growth?

perhaps leave trees the way they are and add a plantable crop which provides mulberry leaves?? mulberry bushes perhaps?

No, that would be retarded.
What we need is a lot more leaves per tree. I plant one tree and get one or two cloths from it after waiting too long.
It's unnecessarily complicated while we could just have infinite leaves from one tree like in old haven, but its fine if they just make trees produce more leaves, atm it is rather small amount of leaves produced per tree.
