Mother's Milk

Not certain if it has been suggested before, However, How about on inspecting herd animals if there was an indicator for if the Sow/Mare/Ewe/Cow is producing milk?
Thus making it a tiny bit simpler on culling unneeded adults without depriving the young of sustenance.

I have noticed that calfs steal my milk from a barrel (I usually milk my cows dry, then leave the barrel outside the bullpen - sure, I'm aware that calves need sustenance, but hey, it's a harsh world). Yesterday I milked 40l of Cowmilk, now there's 36.7 in my barrel. This is in no way helps with OP's question/request but it makes slaughtering cows a lil' bit easier, if there are calves, just keep a barrel of milk nearby and slaughter away.

Will consider.
