Leashing your own horse

Postby LadyGoo » Fri Jul 15, 2016 10:15 am

I have built horse stables for the visitors at the Sevillian market. They have been equipped with some hitching posts, so the visitors would be able to prevent their horses from walking away outside of the stables.
However, after some testing, I have found out that you cannot leash the horse that you have just dismounted if you do not have the vandalism permissions on the claim. However, you can mount your own horse without any permissions. In my point of view, the horse owners should be able to leash their animals without any permissions required.

I cannot assign the vandalism rights, since then it would allow other visitors to steal people's horses or break the hitching posts. Resolving this issue would allow cultural centres and trade hubs to have functional stables.

That's such a shame!

So, yes, I agree it would be better for players to be able to leash their horses, esp considering you can mount them without any permissions ... which actually surprised me.

Have a Busboy who is a member of seville and has proper rights leash them until this is fixed.

Don't say that. The devs might really think that people will actually assign someone who will do it 24 hours for 7 days and won't do anything on the matter.

Made a note to look at it.
