Suggestions for the next map

Postby shadyg0d » Sun Jul 31, 2016 10:41 pm

This map is a clusterfuck. Most places are not pleasant to look at and everywhere you go feels the same. It's hard to find a spot you can call home.

-Bigger map with inhabited areas farther apart. Land/travel area dispersed thinner to encourage player encounters
-More oceans/lakes/mountains
-Bigger biomes, more realistic transitions
-More tall, small hills
-More flat plains
-More small ponds/lakes
-Cliffs based on elevation and location of other cliffs
-Way less trees and cliffs depending on biome
-More forest clearings
-Taller cliffs/steppes in general
-More interesting cliff structures to build on/in
-More realistic connecting/direction of rivers.
-Canyons, riverbeds, plateaus, mud pits, waterfalls, high deserts
-Bigger swamps with "islands" to build on
-More unique caves. Medium rooms, different size passages, more water, level 2 entrances
-Make snow/caves/swamps easier to live on.
-Rare hermit biomes that spawn deep in forests.
-Make biomes more unique in general
-Make mountains more epic like world 8
-BRIDGES

That is all I can think of for now

I don't think deserts will ever happen, but yeah, most of these are +1

Code: Select all
What we need is more cliffs, preferably more cliffs on another cliffs

Less random cliffs in the forests. More cliffs when there are cliffs
