Temporary buff for Mirkwood Offerings

I agree they were very OP and rather silly. However changing them in the middle of a world has made it extremely unfair for new players. Maybe you could change it back for the rest of this world, or make some kind of compromise.

They should've left Mirks alone imo, not able to get hq cause only 10q mirkwood exists.
Now they're complete trash, unusuable. They weren't really too op, all I did was afk a full inv of them and wake up with like 40k lp lol  eats exp though.
Suck me good and hard thru my jorts

I like them the way they are now. You speak as if their LP/HR is trash now, when its still okay. Its just not ridiculously high anymore, and you don't have to make a staggering 48 of them to get you through a single day of studying. That is if you are able to autostudy, and keep up the experience for that much drain.
I tried to keep up with mirkwoods for a month and it just sucked more fun from the game for me. You really enjoyed going out every day or two to make a ton of those things? We stopped hunting for meat, and started hunting for entrails. It was bad, a large portion of my playtime should not revolve around spamming a single curiosity. My daily cycle turned into getting on to hunt for experience, then collect mirkwood logs, then hunt for entrails, then plant more bushes for future seeds for mirkwoods. I was playing mirkwood simulator, not haven. I don't think I was the only one like this either. Mirkwoods make for a toxic experience, and I am happy with the way they are now.

I agree they are still a viable curio at least for new players. I do like the new time/balance as I think AFKing should not really be part of the game and it was a boring hassle to make mirkwoods. If you want to AFK and gain LP, sure, but the massive advantage of AFK with mirkwoods compared to other curios was silly IMO.

I think they should stay the same as now in the next world but the fact is older players benefitted tremendously from them and new players will never be able to catch up, especially with the stat caps removed. So I think for the remainder of this world it's better to keep them the same as they were from day 1.

PLEASE devs this is pretty unfair. There's already enough changes benefiting hardcore players, just revert this change back for now.

True regardless of mirkwood.

Murkwoods are more in line with other curos now. I figure the xp cost would be more like ones in the same group. But the amount of xp we can get (thank you saved me from harsher wounds with hearth magic), the xp cost might not be as bad as I think. But its now a normal curo no brokeness to it... it should be prices xp wise like the rest.

Other example is when bonfire was nerf, people complain about this one mid world too.

If jorb and loftar can only make balance change during new world, development would be even more slow than is now. This is game in ''alpha'' status.

the only thing (if i remember all of em) that was totally fine when changing in the middle of a world was this archery one shotting nerf (regardless of armor class which u worked for to protect u from this!!! and ofc ur stats didn't matter too)

so yeah there are things which could be changed in the middle of the world but only in more serious situations when it's a must.

That's only true if they spend time testing the changes being implementing them. I doubt they had to do any testing for the mirkwood nerf.
