Bee Sting

What if every time you harvested honey or wax from a bee skep there is a chance you get stung? You would take no damage but instead you would get a bee stinger curio.
Or, you could add in an experience event that triggers randomly when you harvest bee skeps called bee sting?

Good idea but there should be some small damage since there is a mild poison in a bee's stinger. Say a "Swollen bump" or something actually called Bee Sting that give you 3-8 damage and -1 dex. It heals slowly on its own or faster with a stinging poultice.

yeah i was thinking about damage but the reason i said no damage was because i wanted this to be more of a reward than a risk but i see what you mean

have you had a bad experience with bees before ?
ive never been stung so i wouldn't know

Considering there are some people in the world who are allergic to bee stings and can die without rapid and effective medical treatment even if HE hasn't had a bad experience with them he may know someone who has. I for one don't have a problem but my husband is one of those who can die from bee stings.

Edit: Although I do think the laughter is a little insulting.

yes i know but it is a game world and i think it would take away from the experience of getting a potentially good curio. I would have no problem if there was a bit of damage though.

Cool idea...i vote for damage + curio ( maybe is possible not take damage with a beekeeper suit or something like that....)

Beekeeper suit would be something, plus smoke to calm them. One missing gives single sting, both swarm attack.
