Range Combat

just thougt if Marksmanship actually is a good thing to skill but it is still a little bit useless in PvP and hunting...
every enemy (animal or Player) will run to you and can kill you easy if you does only shoot at them and not one shoot them
so my idea is implement a Rangers tower with that it would be possible to shoot over walls and some hitpoints that musst be destroyed first to damge the ranger above
in order to use the tower it must a certain amount of time to past maybe like some days

i hope this is not a imbalanced idea and it could made ranging more usefull if your town is under attack and your not good enough to fight in close combat against 10-20 people :)

Archery should lock on to players, but have a slower aim gain when moving. Simple.

Yes. Please. Any time it's useful it's complete cancer, otherwise it's just terrible dog-shit (and killing afks/bots that broke). Implement it into the combat system so it can be properly balanced because I don't trust jorb to balance shit that is in anyway remotely complex.

When you really think about it, its completely understandable that devs dont know how to perfectly balance things. Because it is very very hard, almost impossible.
But I do agree that they sometimes do slight overkills with balancing stuff. (ie. archery)

It is call combat triangle. Ranger does lose to warrior in it.

If you re only here to tell anyone that archery is useless doent answer please we all know that....
i am looking here for ideas to made it usefull again

like the tower... or maybe one other shoot move that fires arrows high in the air area effect and very low accurati something like that or the idea from bowshot125^^
work on ideas to made things better and not repead all the time the same words

It is usefull, but adding tyo the option as of how is key, you has suggested a few things that have been suggested. But I think the devs question is hoow can they do it more then is it needed.

The players haft to remember, bows and even horses gave an advantage history. Claymores wear mader to cleave horses in half and if your wear on one to give you that extra length advatage.... The one group that did master bows ans horses kicked a lot of butt, but. yes this is a game so some of the tends people are talking about happened in real.


Think of how to make it so steel armor is not like derf I got it and you got your crappy bow....
