Will I know if I'm under curfew?

From my experience with the current mechanics of this new moderation system you will receive neither an explanation nor notification you've been gagged.

You don't get a notification when being put under curfew and I don't see a reason why you would need one since there most likely is a reason why you have been subjected to it.

In case your next post is good it will be delayed a bit (without prior notice but no biggie), should it be bad it'll meet a matching fate (deserved).

If I have to guess, thread order is base on timestamp of last posting, and posting with needs approval use time of post instead of time of approval.

Possible, that's my first guess too.
Since on my todo-list are some patches to the forum to ease handling the mechanic (=less clicks for moderators to make) I'll look into it to see if something can be done about it (without a full rewrite).

Will also have to address the issue of destroying the original avatar (since it is replaced with the jail one on incarceration and reverted to being empty on release), so in case your only copy of the avatar is on the forum and you plan to go shitposting in the near future: please make a backup.
