The ability to declare war

Postby Redlaw » Mon Oct 03, 2016 7:37 pm

This would allow a king to declare war on a village/kingdom. Allowing the guest debuff to be taken off while a fight between the group is going on.

Terrible idea. People would declare war, then walk in on a settlement with open doors, and steal all their shit. What were rams for again?

Many of the players I think, think differntly. They rather to be able to do it even worse. You know killing stealing the key, raiding the place....

True, but people want the debuff totally removed. I am trying to think of a middle ground.

bad middleground bad you. There are reasons it's good, like spies getting everyone in a village killed because they have a key.

the fact it requires the king to be close is also kind of dump for a kingdom to do, you know. Risking the big guy to try and trash a place normally a bad idea.

Whats the worst that can happen, the king gets snipped everyone get a promaotion?

Removing the visitor buff is a step backwards. We won't have trade centers and cultural objects then.
The issue with the people complaining about it lying in the fact that they are fighting next to safety.

True, kind of brain storming ways to make things safe and allow people to go after each other.... well past busting a hole in each others walls, which I gues is a strong point and way to get around the debuff.

Just giving them reasons to fight outside of their walls is enough by itself.
