Idea for stockpiles

Stockpiles. LOVE THEM! However, my farm is a huge mess because of them (Still work in progress tho). But what if you could place 2 stockpile close to each other to make a huge stockpile or 4 in a 2x2?
Let's say 2x2 stockpiles of stone. Each stockpile of stone can hold 70 stone, but it will be a huge 350 stockpile (70*4 + one more on top because it's now larger and can support it). I think this would be a good idea, and it could be cool for storage with one huge rock pile in sted of alot of small ones.

Alos a little idea. What about rock stockpiles getting the color of the type of stone that is in it?
