I seem to recall you saying the exact same thing several years ago when I also said we needed more uses for feathers.

Oh there are many uses for feathers. Feather cloaks, adornments, stuffing things for softness, writing, even application of paints and fine brushes. I agree they should have more use.

mabye if boiled can be made into feed and if farther processed can be made into paper? (feathers make a great paper apparently)

To make the fiber, the researchers wash and dry the feathers , grind them up, dissolve them, make them into a keratin solution and then reform that solution as a fiber . the paper come out white with out bleaching

boil feathers in to feather meal and put on herb table once dry grind up in to feather powder place in demijohn with water and bark let sit for awhile once done lay paper rack full of pulp back to herb table till made into fibers which are boiled and placed on paper racks to be set out to dry into paper (say can hold more words and be bound to a book unlike the parchments) , i know its a long process but thats almost hows its done irl
