[Idea] Heal Wounds Magic

Postby kemil88 » Tue Oct 18, 2016 6:35 pm

I did notice that it's hardly impossible for a new player to heal Deep Cuts, but it's very easy to get it, only way to heal deep cuts for a new player is to give Clover to a Mouflon and sheer it (they are not common creatures), then use that single piece of wool in a loom to make a Gauze.
Now, I suppose it's very easy for strong players to heal these wounds since they can tame a mouflon, but for a player that can't even defeat a Badger, farming wool is very hard!.

So, I think there should be a Hearth Magic to heal Deep Cuts, oh yeah and I know there's Stinging Poultrice, but Leather is a very valuable resource for new players, so I can't really use Animal Hide to heal deep cuts, since every fight with an animal gives me deep cuts...I should farm Rabbits only to heal the wounds I get when fighting animals..

Party healer role, here we come.

No thanks, please no magic in combat.
Wool is quite easy to get, the hardest part is finding a wool trader (for a clover) which can take a while even when done with a boat.

deep cuts already have 2 means of healing, thou this idea was already proposed, along with other ways to heal better/faster. I would stay away from anything that makes instaheal anyway.

I'm not talking about healing SHP or using spells on someone else, and also I am not talking about healing in combat (it would be nonsense since you would just heal a wound, and you are not going to recover it in any other means than by waiting if you have 8000+ energy).

Also, as you and I said, it's hard to find a wool trader (or a mouflon) and mouflon can attack you and kill you while you are unconcious, so it's very dangerous to do it for a new character (or even non-so-new, since I play since weeks and yet the most strongest animal I did kill is a Badger and only after it fought against a fox)

It could heal but should give a strong debuff that only gets stronger the more cuts it heals.

I maintain that a long cooldown, medium cost, out of combat spell that heals all instances of nicks and knacks is a good idea, perhaps also converts scrapes & cuts into nicks and knacks. Remove a modest timegate once a day (or more or less whatever,) which is no more offensive than some of the other spells.

Only if you attack them, though. Getting wool from mouflons is entirely non-dangerous.

Until I had sheep, though, I exclusively used Stinging Poultices for Deep Cuts. Waybroad also heals them.

btw, you can use squirrel tail as a piece of hide (thou cannot be tanned) to make poultice.

"They sometimes will attack you and kill you while you are unconscious." from the wiki page, so I suppose they are aggressive

they are not, your supposition is wrong, wiki tells you that they may kill you instead of only ko, also, those who answered you were, also, the devs of the game...i guess they know XD
