Silkworm Eggs used as fishing bait?

As I work my silk I am getting sppare eggs, wondering if they can be changed so they can be used as bait while fishing?

Im not sure if fishes would eat egges. But worms yes.

hatch them to worms and iirc they are bait. i know moths are.
