http://ringofbrodgar.com/wiki/Hartshorn_Salve is a treatment, it reduces the wound down to Blunt trauma, which can be leached / treated with Salve again.
Salve is kinda slow on Blunt traumas tho, better to leach 70% of it and treat the rest.
