Armageddon - World Reset as an in game feature?

Title is self explanatory....What if the World reset would be an in game feature (other than devs needs), that noone know about to do it and if/once discovered people can fight to destroy or save the world.... :D
At least we will solve the issue of people annoying on the forum asking for the world reset, instead they have to play trying to figure out how to do it playing the game.
Perhaps, to do this thing you need many unique items, so if a realm or some people are defending at least one of these items the world cannot be destoyed untill a realm/community have them all...
It sounds dumb, i know....but it's not really dumb, lets think about...Cheers.

Out of curiosity, why do people want world reset ? is it to
1) Remove all current claims on high Q stuff / localized resources?
2) Get the adrenaline of racing with others to achieve higher stats & set up a good base ?

I want a reset because I haven't been playing so I'm behind where I would be if I was playing.

Who cares if your neighbor got better carrots than you?
Most players have no way to catch pro players anyway. They will fall behind them even if new world would be made.

I think, while "the armageddon" event itself sounds like not very carefully weighted words, the more broad idea of features/penalties that require a big effort from the whole community to be unlocked/taken effect, is very worthy. Yet it lies not far from the surface, so I bet J&L have something about it in mind.

I'm thinking at a huge coalition of newbies and hermits sieging a realm trying to save the world.... :D....or the opposite ....what wil do people? destruction or growth? barbarians or civilization? :D maybe we already know that, but could be surprising how people will interact...
