Reduce stamina drain while on your personal claim

Postby ricky » Wed Nov 02, 2016 10:10 pm

Just a thought -

could we have stamina drain reduced while on your own Pclaim? would make farming, building, various other tasks easier to do.

my logic behind the idea is that a pclaim is your home, and you feel safe and relaxed at home.

By that logic, we should have lower stats on our pclaim, because we're relaxed and off guard.

if anything, we should have higher stats because we want to defend it and make it nicer.

I don't quite understand why the distinction "on your personal claim" is relevant, though. If you want farming to be easier, is there any reason that shouldn't be true on the communal village fields?

sure, that sounds good to me. reduce stamina drain on both vclaims and pclaims. The main reason I want it on pclaims is because im a poor dirt farming hermit and i'm not part of any village.

Why would you ever be doing these things while not on some sort of claim? It would make more sense to reduce stamina drain everywhere, not limit it to only while on a claim.

Actions like digging are more reasonable, but it still doesn't make much sense. Stamina requirements for most actions could be reduced in more practical ways than just checking if you're on a claim.

If you didn't know, high quality scythes making farming easy breezy. I rarely drink anymore while farming. But then again I don't have some uber farm.

Also: Anti-Tedium

Chopping trees is major issue. It's very difficult.

it's not just farming. it's grinding flour, cooking mussels, chopping trees, levelling ground, plowing ground, building houses, destroying houses, chopping wood into blocks.

these are all things that you inevitably end up doing on a claim, and you should get a stamina bonus for doing it on your claim compared to another person's claim.

at best, it encourages people to do stuff on their main account rather than having a farm alt, a smith alt, a craft alt.

at worst it just means people who alt frequently make several claims for activities related to their alt, which is basically the same as having however many accounts instead of a main + alt
