Okay, just playing a bit with the new update, trying to find more uses for some kind of meat that are not so good, namely badger, horse, beef, hedgehog. I made the new sausages, and besides the fact that fep points are really distributed among 3-4 different feps (thus making them totally not so good...), the change between use of one meat and the other is not that much. Jotun's morsel it's the same, worse by an order of magnitude: many meat types gives so little difference that are practically the same, like chicken, giving less than 5% of the total fep in difference. The chicken thing is the same even with other receipts, and seems inconsistent, giving with some recipes a boost in dex, in others cha, always in small quantities (i wonder if this is because of the base ql of the chicken meat used).

Horse and beef gives the same fep "bonus" in nearly every receipt, while using auriochs/beef, mutton/sheep, horse/wild horse gives the same type of fep, while they should be different between tamed/untamed.
While Jotun's morsel seems desirable even only because of the +2 int fep, the other meat recipes i've tried (new sausage, encumbered roast and steaks & tubers) now are really hard to use, and maybe players won't make them because they generally have 3-4 different feps, making incredibly difficult to plan the increase of the desider stat point, and more that because the difference coming with the meat adjustment is barely noticeable.

I guess that the new update still may need some tuning, up now is a cool idea and i support this kind of things, but i think is a bit clunky and may have a less effect than his potential in game. I may suggest to make these recipes with a maximum of 3 different feps, make the meat adjustment have more weight in the total fep the food gives.

Mushrooms seems a lot more balanced, for example in mushroom & onion pirozhki, except the bloated one that, beign a fated curio too, should maybe have some more fep than a normal 'shroom, especially because bay bolete gives way more +2 dex fep, making it...better than the fate curio for fep increase chances (i think should be the other way at least...)

I agree that meat foods are not so good for some meats. Devs should balance stuff.
