If you are injured, it might be cool if we could heal treated wounds a little bit faster by standing in front of open flames.
A warmness buff that builds up over time, similar to the hemp smoking buff.

At 100% warmness you should heal slightly faster.

Encourages people to sit around bonfires and the larp the fuck out after the Great Mammoth Hunt

i like it but you should have a risk of catching on fire and in order to put the fire out you need to run into a river or something. you should lose like 10-50 hhp every few seconds

+1 at least 10-50 hhp for sure

Staring too long should blind your character too

Well, the idea started off nicely but has now gone to the darkside, lol, considering you have to almost be on top of the fire to cook we would all be on fire every day! :P

I like it.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

Some sort of "Warm Fire" buff would be nice.

A temperature system would, if anything, perhaps be something.
