The plant we are refering to that provides the substance to make wax is actually a tree. It can get up to 65 feet tall. A bit beyond the confies of our pots.

Actually, plant wax can be obtained from almost any plant, tree or bush with berries.
For example, wax myrtle or Phaseolus vulgaris. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phaseolus_vulgaris
But yes, it can break balance.
