It would add flavor and a reason to have more healing items. When foraging, picking crops, or using a tool with woods parts. This would stop the use of any items in the players hands while they heal, plus any crafting that needs Dexterity.

A knew healing item, called tweezers could be added to pull the splinter and change the would to one that heals faster and allows the player to act normally.

I'm pretty sure this is a joke, but either way, it's stupid...

that this hasn't been implemented yet! I'd love to have more game mechanics that randomly punish me for playing the game regardless of how I act and disallow me from progressing by forcing me to stand around idle while I wait for them to go away. It just adds that bittersweet twist of zesty realism to the game that I so sorely crave.

This is a response to the massive thread. Something I have seen used as part of another game, sadly this was not enough for that game. So they addec captch junk off and on...

this remembers me a lot the puncture damage to feet when going around w/o shoes into the woods, some worlds ago... :p

You can't if some of your characters actually died for feet puncturing.
