About ant farms

Postby Blueberry » Wed Nov 23, 2016 1:12 am

The kind of ant farms that the curio is modeled after often don't have queens in them and the colony dies out eventually. I propose taking queens out of the recipe and adding a second kind of ant farm that is not a curio, uses queens, and can be fed and harvested for more ants. Aphids would have to be introduced, but afterwards they will reproduce. The food the farm takes would be similar to a compost bin. If anyone thinks the current ant farm recipe is too cheap, the harvestable one could require every kind of ant.

PS: worm farm??? beetle farm??? any other kind of insect/bug farm??? spider webs crafted into spider silk fabric????
berry nice to see you

Worms in compost bin chould mabye multiply if at least 2 placed in, snails and snail pens, lady bug breeding in a net type structure and chould mabye add caterpillars and butter fly (curio, mabye some edible), crickets chould be curio (lucky crickets) but also put in person farm and will slowly eat plants kinda a sabotage thing, of i chould keep a pet spider and harvest the web that would be cool breeding them too chould feed any bug mabye? , beetles would be cool too

Nope.
