iv not posted a crazy idea latly so its about time i forgot about slugs so mabye add those or keep them wild (perhaps wild slugs leads to snails?(it dont gotta make sense right?))

Snail pens


built with boards , blocks , mulch/dirt ,seed of leafy plants and cloth/mabye string? (for covernet)
inside ressembles cupboard when open size wise mabye
snail breed very slow and never need upkeep
once full breeding stops
snails chould be a lazy mans cheese or something (fep and hunger wise)but weaker
snail slime does help heal deep wounds and burns mabye a very very light healing method is there

Snails have been eaten world wide, where ever there has been a famine thay have enjoy a snail and slugs from time to time

I've never heard of snails for healing, nor of people eating slugs, don't they have parasites? Then again I don't know much about snails or slugs.

But snail pens for food sounds cool to me. Escargot isn't the only recipe that uses snails, and the french aren't the only people who eat them. The shells could be a curiosity. Another use could be dye. Tyrian purple was made from snails by people in and around the Fertile Crescent as early as 1570 BC and as late as the 13th century. It was an extremely expensive dye reserved for royalty.

I think i've heard somewhere that breeding slugs were one of human activities while they were living in the caves.
