Now that we have "mechanical power".
Devs should add more machines. Such as sawmill.
You could input logs and output would be boards or blocks. They would be softcapped by quality of the blade. (Made from metal)

Only if the boards/blocks end up being stored somewhere I guess and you don't have to move them right away otherwise I don't really see the point. It takes longer to chop trees and collect the logs than it does to turn them in to stuff.
