On the matter of potatoes and other crops

One day I was walking through my farms of onions and pumpkins, and I thought to my self "There's something missing here..."

Potatoes!

Potatoes are a very important crop! They are the base of many a dish and are great even alone!

They would take a decent amount of time to fully grow, and they would work somewhat like the other tubers.

While we're at it, what about corn? Corns a rather important crop, it can take a decent amount of time to grow but its used in many things and gives a decent amount each harvest.

They would take a quite a while, since they grow rather slowly, and eating the ears of corn would give kernels perhaps?


These ideas need to be expanded on, tell me what you think!
