Cooking & Curios Recipes Books

Postby sMartins » Sat Dec 17, 2016 9:04 am

I know most of the people exploit with custom clients about this but i would love to see some books...
- A cook book where you can right click the food you freshly prepared and it will save FEP points, satiations and whatever...
- A school Book (study book) that works in the same way but with curios, exp needed,LP,time, etc

I think the books should save every recipes referring to base quality of 10.

Yeah this would be a good idea. I don't explicitly think it needs a physical item to go with it though. I believe in the crafting menu or perhaps the character sheet there should be a "cook book" "study guide" and "discovery" menu with lists each item you found in alphabetical order. We already have an experience guide, so I think implementing this feature would be reasonable.

I also agree that these lists should display items at q10, or even q10/40/90/160, as long as you've crafted an item above that quality. This would help dispel the guesswork and hearsay around crafting and allow the wiki to be updated more easily with accurate information.

You can find the base stats pretty easily with some formula manipulation, but most people don't bother.

Definitely a good idea though. Having books in general would be pretty cool too. Like sure, there's parchment for writing notes, but having actual multi-line pages and formatting, maybe adding sketches to 'em. Probably not super high on the list of priorities, but I'm sure some people would have fun with it.

Idk, bro.
