Boar spear one-handed

I would like to offer to make boar spear one-handed weapon as i would like to wear it with the shield at the beginning of the game cuz it gives very nice bonus to armor also i got cool "Sting" skill but can't use it because don't want change shield (which save me a lot of times) to boar spear because of it. Boar spear not very good weapon and i would like to use it as an alternative to a good weapon in the beginning of game for hunting by making it one-handed.

Well, instead of making Boar Spears one-handed, we should just be able to make a hunting spear.
Which makes me wonder, with all the spears that ancient civilizations used, why aren't they an available weapon? Axes were quite heavy and unwieldy while swords were quite rare and used by trained professionals and nobles. Spears, however, were common for their ease of production, use, and overall safety (better to far away than near something that can kill you )

Petition to change the boar spear into a one-handed spear, and create a new, proper, two-handed boar spear with a crosstree on it to prevent the boar from sliding down the shaft of the spear to you and attacking you.
